When Day Descends is progressive atmospheric rock/metal from Tasmania, Australia. The debut album "Transcend" was released as an instrumental solo project in 2005, but the band is now becoming a full line up in time for the next release. When Day Descends make music which is filling the gap between progressive rock, progressive metal and post rock.
