When Day Descends are a progressive atmospheric rock/metal band from Tasmania, Australia. We make music which is filling the gap between progressive rock, progressive metal and post rock. A new self titled album was released in 2010, which starts a new era for the project as the first album with a full band line up. The project originally began as an instrumental solo project for the 2005 album “Transcend” and the 2006 release of “Ascension”.
